Free SEO audit · normally £495
A free SEO audit, written by a person.
This is not an automated report with a score on the front. Somebody reads your site, works out what is holding it back, and writes you the list.
Werehouse Media is offering a free SEO audit for UK businesses, normally £495, for a limited time. It is a manual SEO audit: a person reviews the website against the goals the business actually has, rather than running a crawler and sending the export. The audit covers three things. A deep-dive review of how the site is currently optimised for the searches that matter to it. A missing-gap analysis, which is the list of what the site does not have and should. And a conversion rate optimisation check, so if the layout or the design is losing enquiries that the search work would otherwise have won, that is flagged too. There is no obligation and no card required, and it is separate from the paid services we sell. It is free because it is the clearest way to show the standard of the work before anybody spends anything.
What you get
What our SEO audit services cover, all written by hand.
We debated charging for this, because of the amount of manual work in every one. Each audit is put together by a member of the team with your specific business goals in front of them, which is why the form below asks what those goals are rather than just asking for a URL.
Deep-dive SEO review
A manual look at how the site is actually optimised against the searches you want to win: what it currently ranks for, what it is structured to rank for, and the distance between those two. Technical health, page structure, content and the search intent each page is answering.
The missing-gap analysis
The part most audits skip. Not a list of warnings, a list of what is not there: the pages that should exist and do not, the questions your buyers ask that the site never answers, the terms competitors own that you have no page for. Written as action items in the order worth doing them.
Bonus CRO audit
If we spot layout or design problems costing you enquiries, we flag those too. There is no point winning the click if the page loses the job. This is included because search work that lands on a page nobody converts on is a waste of everyone's money.
Real advice from people who do this work, tailored to your business. Normally £495. Free while the offer lasts.

Six questions. The more you tell us about the goals, the more the audit is about your business rather than about your website in the abstract.
Questions
Before you send it.
Yes. No card, no trial, no obligation to buy anything afterwards. It normally costs £495 and it is free for a limited time because it is the most honest way to show the standard of the work before you spend money. If the audit says the site is in good shape, that is the answer you get.
Usually within a week of the request, sometimes sooner. Every audit is written by hand rather than generated, so the queue is real. We reply within two working days to confirm we have it and to ask anything the form did not cover.
A checker crawls the site and lists what it can measure: missing tags, slow pages, broken links. Useful, and about a tenth of the job. It cannot tell you that your service page is answering a different question from the one people are typing, or that the page ranking for your best term sends visitors to a form nobody completes. Those are judgement calls, which is why a person makes them here.
No. The audit is written so your own developer or agency can act on it, and plenty of people do exactly that. If the answer turns out to be that the site itself is the problem, that is a redesign rather than an SEO job and we will say so. If you would rather we did the work, prices are published on the SEO and local SEO page, starting at £695 a month with no minimum term.
Yes, where they are relevant to you. If you serve an area, the audit covers the Google Business Profile, local search signals and the location pages. It also covers whether your pages are written so an answer engine can quote them, which is what AI search visibility actually means in practice, because being named by ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews or Perplexity is increasingly where the enquiry starts.
