AI systems · Founder-led businesses

AI that earns its keep.

Not chatbots for the sake of it. I build systems that take real work off your plate: reporting, admin, follow-up, research. Built for my own practice first, then for businesses like yours.

Every business has a layer of work that has to be done and doesn't need a human doing it.

Chasing invoices. Writing the weekly numbers up. Moving data between tools that don't talk to each other. Answering the same twelve emails. It's the layer that eats your evenings and never grows the business.

AI is now good enough to do most of that layer properly. The catch is that someone has to build it into your business: connect it to your tools, test it against real work, and make it reliable enough to trust. That's the job.

What gets built

Systems that do real work.

Every build starts from where your hours actually go. These are the usual suspects.

Reporting

Numbers that write themselves up

Your figures pulled, analysed and written up in plain English, on a schedule. You read it, you don't compile it.

Follow-up

Leads that stop going cold

Enquiries answered, quotes chased, the CRM kept clean. The leads you paid for get the attention they cost.

Customer service

Replies drafted, not sent

Responses drafted from your own policies and tone, ready for a human yes. The machine drafts; you decide.

Back office

Admin on rails

Invoices, stock alerts, bookings, and the hand-offs between tools that currently happen by copy and paste.

Research

Intelligence overnight

Competitors, prospects and suppliers watched and summarised while you sleep. You wake up to the short version.

Knowledge

An assistant that knows your business

Trained on your documents and SOPs, so answers come from your way of doing things, not the internet's.

Proof

Built for my own practice first.

Werehouse Media is a one-person practice that does the work of a team, because the team is software I built. None of it is theoretical; it's how this business runs, week in, week out.

Everything I offer a client is something I already trust with my own name on it.

How it works

Same shape as every engagement. Deliberately.

A free straight answer first, a fixed-fee look under the bonnet second, and a build only where the maths holds up.

Step oneFree

The conversation

Tell me how the work flows and where the hours go. I'll tell you what's worth automating, what isn't, and what I'd build first. If a £30 off-the-shelf tool solves it, I'll say so.

  • A short call or email, nothing formal
  • No charge, no obligation, no pitch
  • A straight answer either way
Step twoFixed fee

The systems audit

A week inside your workflows. You get a map of where the hours leak and a prioritised plan with honest estimates of what each system saves against what it costs.

  • Workflow map: where time actually goes
  • What to automate, in what order, and why
  • Costs and savings, in plain numbers
  • Yours to keep, build with me or without me
Step threePriced per system

The build

A fixed price agreed before anything starts. I build, test against real work, train you on it and hand it over. Nothing goes live without your sign-off.

  • Built inside your own accounts and tools
  • Tested on real work before it counts
  • Training included in the handover
  • You own all of it, from day one
The honest bit

What I'll tell you straight.

Not everything should be automated

Anything touching judgement, relationships or your reputation keeps a human in the loop. The machine drafts; you decide.

It has to pay for itself

If the maths doesn't beat the fee within a few months, I'll tell you before you spend.

Your data stays yours

Systems run in your accounts, on your subscriptions, with access kept to the minimum. Walk away any time and it all keeps working.

Off-the-shelf sometimes wins

When a ready-made tool does the job, I'll point at it and save us both the project.

Straight answers

The questions worth asking first.

What tools do you build on?

Whatever fits: usually the AI models you've already heard of, connected to the software you already run. I'm not reselling a platform, so there's no tool I'm obliged to push and no licence of mine you're stuck renting.

Is my data safe?

Systems run inside your own accounts with access kept to the minimum they need. Nothing of yours is used to train anyone else's models, and anything sensitive can stay entirely on machines you control. The access list goes in writing before anything is built.

What does it cost?

The conversation is free. The audit is a fixed fee agreed up front, and every build is priced before it starts, so there are no open-ended day rates. Ongoing support is optional, not a dependency.

Do I need to be technical?

No. If you can describe how the work flows, I can build from that. Training is part of every handover, and the systems are documented in plain English, not developer notes.

What happens when something breaks?

Systems are built to fail loudly, not silently, so you'll know before it matters. Every build includes a support window, and after that you can fix it, extend it, or call me.

Is this replacing my team?

It's replacing the parts of their week nobody enjoys. The pattern that works is people doing the judgement and the relationships, with the machine doing the compiling, chasing and formatting underneath them.

Curious what this looks like in your business?

Tell me where the hours go. Worst case, you get a free straight answer about what's worth automating and what isn't.

Free, no obligation, and I reply personally, usually same day. Prefer email? Write to me directly.
